The Christian Science Monitor
The Christian Science Monitor is an award-winning international news organization that covers news and feature stories from every corner of the globe. Founded in 1908 by Mary Baker Eddy, the Monitor publishes news around-the-clock on the Web at CSMonitor.com, once a week in print, and daily via an email news briefing. With eight foreign bureaus and eight more in the United States—as well as the resources and expertise of dozens of additional journalists worldwide—the Boston-based Monitor provides a comprehensive overview of international and national news and events.

The Global Canopy Programme
The Global Canopy Programme is an alliance of 37 scientific institutions in 19 countries, which lead the world in forest canopy research, education and conservation. Their work programmes all aim to define and explore the range and economic value of forest ecosystem services and to share their findings with decision-makers in Government and finance. Time is not on our side as the conversion of ancient forests proceeds apace worldwide. Policy and positive incentive mechanisms based on sound science must urgently be developed to preserve these vital forest utilities for humanity.

The Global Carbon Project
The Global Carbon Project assists the international science community to establish a common, mutually agreed upon knowledge base supporting policy debate and action to slow the rate of increase of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. The Global Carbon Project is responding to this challenge through a shared partnership between the International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme (IGBP), the International Human Dimensions Programme on Global Environmental Change (IHDP), the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP) and Diversitas. This partnership constitutes the Earth Systems Science Partnership (ESSP).

Population Reference Bureau
The Population Reference Bureau informs people around the world about issues related to population, health, and the environment. To do this, they transform technical data and research into accurate, easy-to-understand information. Utilizing innovative tools like PRB's wallcharts, including the World Population Data Sheet and the Map of Persistent Child Poverty in the U.S., which are searchable via their DataFinder Web tool, PRB makes accurate demographic information accessible to a wide audience. In addition, PRB's Web site offers full text of all PRB publications, including their respected Population Bulletins and Web-exclusive data and analysis on world issues ranging from aging to family planning. Their Center for Public Information on Population Research puts new population research findings into context for journalists and policymakers. PRB empowers people—researchers, journalists, policymakers, and educators—to use information about population, health, and the environment to encourage action.

Inequality.org
Inequality.org is the premiere portal for the public at large, journalists, teachers, students, academics, and any others seeking information and analysis on wealth and income inequality. Their mission is to help end economic inequality in the United States and abroad. Inequality.org is a project of the Institute for Policy Studies, a think tank based in Washington, DC.
